Course Overview

The Dangerous Goods Stock Keeping training course provides personnel with awareness and recurrent level training with regards to the transportation of dangerous goods, and is designed to meet the minimum awareness level training requirements for any one dealing with Dangerous Goods.

Course Objective

• Classification of workplace chemicals according to their hazardous property thresholds
• Storage, handling, and disposal controls compliant to the legislation and workplace requirements
• Understand the general philosophy behind the safe transportation of dangerous goods
• Recognise the various label specifications and how labels are used to correctly mark packages.
• Understand the key elements dealing with the storage and loading of dangerous goods
• Understand basic procedures in the event of an accident or emergency involving dangerous goods
• Follow storage requirements

Any person responsible for the management,dealing with dangerous goods, stock keeping, storage, use, disposal or otherwise handling of hazardous substances on a workplace, especially those substances requiring the maintenance of tracking and/or other application records.
