Course Overview

The course aims to provide knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond appropriately to a fire emergency and provide the knowledge for the proper use of emergency equipment and procedures to enhance survival in a fire emergency.

Course Objective

At the end of the training, the candidates will be able to:

• Minimizing the risk of fire
• Maintaining a state of readiness to respond to emergency situations involving fire
• Fighting and extinguishing a fire
• Shipboard fire-fighting organization
