Course Overview
Arc furnaces are special loads used by steel factories and aluminum alloys manufacturers. They consist of the furnace shell, on load tap-changing furnace transformer, power transformer, furnace circuit break, flexible leads, graphite electrodes, control system, reactors, power factor correction capacitors, static VAR compensators (TCR/FC) and harmonic filters.
Course Objective
This course consists of five-day classes. The course is intended for operating personnel.
Areas covered include basic heat transfer, fuel, refractory, principals of design applications and operation of different pipe steel heaters (furnaces), heat exchangers and coolers.
Who Should Attend??
