Course Overview

Corrective maintenance refers to the activities conducted by the Maintenance Organization to repair equipment of all forms within their area of responsibility. Preventive maintenance is a discipline that uses processes and activities that focus on the prevention of failures or performance degradation before it occurs

Course Objective

• Operate a plant maintenance as the prime consideration
• Monitor maintenance and the operation of equipment
• Establish & describe the principles of operation & maintenance of rotating machinery
• Develop a clear understanding of maintenance function & the role of maintenance personnel
• Develop positive approach to maintenance
• Detect potential and actual problems and take corrective action to prevent the interruption of system operations
• Use standard operating procedures to start and stop production equipment
• Maintain communication with other operators, maintenance, and management
